Raw material preparation and pretreatment:
The production of lithium iron phosphate battery first requires the preparation of raw materials such as lithium, iron and phosphate. These raw materials need to be mixed in a specific proportion and pretreated to ensure their quality and purity.
Drying and sintering of iron phosphate:
Put the iron phosphate raw materials into a stainless steel sagger and put them into a drying room for drying. This process usually takes 6-10 hours, and the temperature is controlled at 220±20℃. After drying, the material is transferred to a rotary kiln for sintering, and the temperature is adjusted to 540±20℃, and the sintering time is 8-12 hours.
Grinding and mixing:
In the grinder, raw materials such as lithium carbonate are ground and mixed and ground successively. Lithium carbonate, sucrose, pure water and raw materials such as iron phosphate are added in proportion, and after 1-3 hours of grinding, a uniform mixture is obtained.
Material dispersion:
Transfer the ground material into the disperser, add an appropriate amount of pure water, adjust the stirring speed, and fully stir and disperse for 1-2 hours to ensure that the material is evenly dispersed.
Spray drying:
The material then enters the spray drying equipment. During the spray drying stage, the inlet and outlet temperatures of the equipment and the feed rate need to be adjusted. The inlet temperature is controlled at 220±20℃, the outlet temperature is 110±10℃, and the feed rate reaches 80Kg/hr. After spray drying, the dried material is obtained.
Hydraulic briquetting and push plate furnace sintering:
Use a hydraulic press to press the spray-dried material into a mold to form a block. Then, these block materials are sent to the push plate furnace for sintering. During the push plate furnace sintering process, the temperature must be raised and nitrogen must be passed to meet the specific atmosphere requirements, and then sintering must be carried out according to the set heating, constant temperature, and cooling time.
Subsequent processing and inspection:
The sintered material is subjected to subsequent processing such as roller pressing and ultrafine grinding to obtain the required lithium iron phosphate powder. Finally, the products will be strictly inspected and labeled with product name, inspector, material batch and date before they can be put into storage.
